Weʼre raising £4,500 to run Decolonise Fest 2024
Decolonise Fest is at the heart and soul of London’s DIY punk scene: a vibrant celebration of music, workshops, and art created by and for punx of colour. Since 2017 we’ve been carving out our space and building a community where POC punx can be seen and heard.
This year, we’re facing some unexpected hurdles. As much as we’re fuelled by passion and DIY spirit, the reality is that running a festival requires funds, and we’ve encountered unforeseen expenses that threaten the existence of Decolonise Fest 2024. As a result of this and the challenging arts funding landscape right now, we’re struggling to cover the upfront costs necessary to make the festival happen.
