Miss Jacqui is a poet, spoken word artist and songwriter who has been on the poetry circuit for about 10 years now and I’ve been making music unofficially since my early teens. Her work deals with challenging social perceptions of what it is like to be a Black woman with a disability. Miss Jacqui manages two main conditions, Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Sickle Cell Anaemia. She has performed at various high profile stages such as the Paralympic Team Welcoming Ceremony and the Opening Ceremony.
